Whoop whoop whoop whoop!!!

Hahaha. Recently I made this term famous amongst friends, although probably Yong would beg to differ, but this is where I learned it from. (forgive the swearings) Enjoy!

(Sorry the video does not allow embedding so I shall post the link here...)

Neg's Urban Sports - Burger Bowl Off
Neg's Urban Sports - Urban Skittles
Neg's Urban Sports - Urban Sprinting

More random Whoop whoops I've found.

Whoop-Whoop is a small insignificant town in the bush of Australia. It is often used in the Australian Slang expression 'way out in Whoop-Whoop,' which is equivalent to the other Australian phrase 'beyond the black stump,' both of which mean 'way out in the middle of nowhere.' Coincidentally, the middle of nowhere is exactly where Whoop-Whoop is.

The town of Whoop-Whoop has exactly one post office, one church, one pub, and about ten point five houses1 and a total population of 46, which mainly consists of elderly senior citizens and farmers. They used to have a school, but it closed down because the school wasn't being used enough, so the one remaining student has to shuttle into the next town, Jameison (which has a total population of 93), to be educated.

Whoop whoop whoop whoop!!!

Counting down

I didn't expect it to be THIS bad, not that its bad, but worse than I thought it would be.

My feelings, ke-emo-kan, counting down the days which I am to return to Melbourne. I shall weight to myself how bad and how not bad it looks:

Looking forward to:

  • A rather relaxing semester. 9 contact hours. (Dreadful would-be head scratching FYP moments excluded)
  • An opportunity to finish this race with glory. (Always hopeful of a 1st class honours)
  • Back to Planetshakers City Church. (YEAHHH and the Conference on April!!)
  • Better internet. (Definitely, Streamyx hancur-ed these few months)
  • A better WoW experience.
  • Seeing more chicks. (Better target and gun down some of them this time..)

Looking back on:
  • Late night mamaks. (I am sure every oversea Malaysians felt this)
  • Family and Friends.
  • Futsal sessions.
  • Glorious FOOD
  • Being able to go anywhere by driving....
ARGH! Still prefer Malaysia, my home...

Damn it, am I weak because of this?

Just finished Episode 20 of Gundam 00 season 2. And the ending part is....DAMN SAD. It made my eyes really teary. And with the combination of this song by Yuna Ito, my emotions was shaken even more.

Am I weak because of this?

Anyways, the video and lyrics along with its translation is as below:

Yuna Ito - Trust You
Gundam 00 Season 2 - Ending 2
Japanese (Romaji)

hana wa kaze ni yureodoru you ni
ame wa daichi o uroosu you ni
kono sekai wa yorisoiai ikiteru no ni
naze hito wa kizutsukeau no
naze wakare wa otozureru no

kimi ga tooku ni itte mo mada
itsu mo kono kokoro no mannaka
ano yasashii egao de umetsukusareta mama
dakishimeta kimi no kakera ni
itami kanjite mo mada tsunagaru kara
shinjiteru yo mata aeru to
I'm waiting for your love

I love you, I trust you
kimi no kodoku o wakete hoshii
I love you, I trust you
hikari demo yami demo
futari dakara shinjiaeru
No, hanasanaide

----------------------------------------------------------------

English Translation

Flowers sway in the wind as if dancing
So that the rain moistens the earth
Even though this world is alive, coming closer together
Why do people hurt each other?
Why do partings come about?

Even if you go far away
You’re still always right in the middle of my heart
While they remain completely buried by that kind smile
Even if I feel pain
In fragments of you that I held, because we’re still connected
I believe that we can meet again
I’m waiting for your love

I love you, I trust you
I want you to share your loneliness with me
I love you, I trust you
Even in light, even in darkness
Because we’re together, we’re able to believe in each other
No, please don't let go

----------------------------------------------------------------

Please, anyone who watches that part, drop a message and relate to how I felt...

Look alike series 1

Just thought of starting this up when I saw Morten Gamst Pedersen played for Blackburn that night. He reminded me of Jake Gyllenhaal. I for one think they kinda look alike. You be the judge.
Left: Morten Gamst Pedersen
Right: Jake Gyllenhaal

I would post some info about them if I can just open Wikipedia. But due to the stupid @#!$@$ internet at the moment, I can't. Streamyx upgrading my arse.

More look-alikes to come whenever I notice one. Which I actually do have another, just that I am thinking of saving it for the next post. Haha.

On the side news, Kee's World (http://thestar.com.my/comics/kee/kee.asp) 23rd Feb 2009 edition totally explains we students' (especially those just graduated or going to graduate very soon) feelings in 1 comic strip.

So true. I DON'T WANT TO GRADUATE THIS YEAR! T__T

Final week in Malaysia...

Final week in Malaysia. Basically had nothing planned. Trying to sleep the week off, enjoying solitude. Managed to sleep till 4pm today. Haha. Half a day gone. Friends are all busy people, and Melaka has nothing to do anyways.

And somehow, the things that happened..and DID NOT happen, reminds me of a phrase I always say: Don't always plan things on the long term, it WILL NOT work.

This is very true. Looking back while I was in Melbourne, preparing to come home. Many things were planned of what to do back home, by me or by my friends which I heard, most of them did not come to pass, which explains how unpredictable life can be. And it is because of this unpredictability, that humans worry about so very much.

Another important thing I discovered about life yesterday is that: Confidence is a very powerful thing. I noticed this during the football match between Fulham and West Bromwich Albion.

Probably many of you don't know who is this, he is Bobby Zamora, Fulham's striker. The thing about him is that: He hasn't score a goal since September last year, until yesterday.

Soccernet: "Zamora had played more than 29 hours of Premier League football since his last goal but tapped home the opener from point-blank range..."

Congrats to him. But the amazing thing is this: "he almost scored a second when he lashed just over two minutes later."

This is what confidence can do to a person, after the confidence is gained from scoring his first goal since September, he almost scored another 2 minutes later. With confidence comes perseverance, with perseverance comes hope, with hope comes deliverance.

Hmm, not bad, I am blogging again. Bleh.

Bah, problems...

Problems keep piling up...

Since Wednesday night, the net was like crap. Everything is slow. And I just realized my laptop vent is not venting hot air, as it supposed to. Friends asked me to contact Dell. But the their call center is closed for today. So I checked out the website for any retail outlet in Melaka, found some dodgy phone numbers on the site, a computer shop in Dataran Pahlawan. So I gave it a go.

"Hello, is this XXX Sdn Bhd?"
"Yes..."
"Im currently using a XXX laptop and I suspect my cooling fan is spoiled...but my warranty already expired..."
"Oh my God...warranty expired ah? (yes, he literally said that, I thought I heard it wrongly)"
"If I bring my laptop to your shop, can you guys help me fix? (with a fee)"
"No, we can't"
"Why not?"
"It will be illegal..."
".............ok. Thank you"

[ Something like that ]

I was like, WHAT THE HELL?? This is damn lame.
Worst case scenario, follow my friend's advice: Just get a big fan and face it towards the keyboard laaaa...
How witty. -___-

Punished.

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

Indeed.

Since I went to Penang last weekend, I missed the weekly Naxxramas raid. So I tried whatever ways possible to be able to make it to this week's raid. But the perfect time for worship practice is Saturday's afternoon, which clashes with the time of raid.

So, thinking I could change the time of practice to suit my raid, I pushed the practice time to Thursday night and Friday night, which went pretty well by the way. Praise God.

But God cannot be mocked. He has crippled my internet connection since Wednesday night. Till now I can't login to WoW without having a huge latency.

Sorry God.
