Aih

I seriously would rather sacrifice everything I know or can do just to be really good at something, anything.

Me = The Ultimate Example of Jack of All Few Miserable Trades but the Master of, NONE.

I can only surrender all to God. He gives and He takes away.

Void

Void. The only word I can briefly describe about my blog at this moment. Nothing interesting happens. And hence, the lack of updates. But at least by reading this, you know I am still alive.

To sum it all up, I've been:

  • Playing Mafia Wars on Facebook. Yes, those annoying spams, I finally succumb to it. Succumb with me too, join my Mafia Family!
  • Playing DotA again, via Garena. Add me at Zhou86 lol.
  • Bowling. Still at it, but not as often. Taking it toll on my bum. Pain.
  • Watching the History Channel. REALLY INTERESTING STUFFS THERE. Highly recommended.

All my intense training playing of bowling paid off went down the drain during the church bowling "tournament" last friday. I played so bad, its beyond shit. Yup, I just made that up. I mean the beyond shit phrase, but not the beyond shit part. Means I played really badly la.

The Indon maid was due to arrive at my house on Friday night, but Yong wasn't allowed to come back to Melaka. Sad. In a way I felt bad not going to KL to see him. But, its the Raya weekend man. Not a good idea.

Speaking of Raya, I just thought to myself this morning.

"I don't seem to have any close Malay friends"

Somehow its ironic. I don't have any close friend from the 60% of the population of this country. This shows how fail the development of racial integration is, and shows how fail...I am.

In terms of the most frequent question during these times, "Hows your job application going?". Well my answer is "I fail".

The reason I did not choose to say "It's not going well" or "Things are not looking good" is because "I" am the cause of it. "I" am not putting in enough any effort into it. Probably its because nothing is at stake. But "I" know I can't escape it forever. Most probably will apply for my internship place, albeit the cons highlighted by some people. But I know myself all too well. I can 100% say that I:

  • Don't like stepping out of my comfort zone.
  • Can't live alone in a new environment.
  • Hate traveling long distances, especially to work.
  • Don't really like competing with many other people for a job. As you all may or may not know, I lack the self-confidence, since God knows when.
So, erm. Yup, that's all for now. Can't believe I can pop out so much crap whereas at the start of the post I actually wanted to announce that my blog will close temporarily.

Addicted?

GG. Mum came home first, not too long after, dad came home.

Dad: "Lets go bowling lor~~!"
Mum and me: "OK!"

Off we went, again. Played 4 games. (Most games I've played straight in my life so far)
Buy 1 game, free 1 game.

Addicted? Probably.
Good addiction? Hell yes.
Better than rotting at home? Duh.

Randoms

One of the things I look forward to this week is the bowling session with the family today. Due to the fact that the church is going to organize a bowling tournament, we decided to head to the MIBC (Malacca International Bowling Centre) to give a try and train in the same time.

Boasting to the largest bowling centre in Malaysia with 52 lanes, this RM25 million bowling centre, as quoted by Bernama, is set to make the state an international venue for bowling competitions while boosting sports tourism. But just by entering, one will notice an obvious fail. The lanes are located at a floor above, and one would have to take the stairs up! No escalators, lifts, none. Stairs.

And as an "International Venues for Competitions", there are no seats for spectators IF a competition is to be held. Another fail.

International Venue for competitions? Where are the seats?

Ok, nevermine that, since we are only there to play. So we wanted to pay for the lane. But guess what? Suddenly their computer hang. Lol. Seriously. Hang and made us wait quite a while. Another fail.

But once we got our lane, things went well till the end.

Other than the fail start, things are not too bad.

Later, World Cup qualifiers! Haven't been so enthusastic about the qualifiers in my life. Maybe its because I have nothing better to do. Going to watch England vs. Croatia.

Pressure

I hate crossroads. Especially the ones with many many forks. Some ask me to chill, enjoy my last long holidays. But with everyone gone, what should I do? In a way, feeling pressured (self imposed) to find a job. A few jobs have been identified, but which to apply for? Where to apply for? So many uncertainties.

This is where I envy doctors and people with family businesses, oh ya and really smart people. They either gets a job straight away, or people would just come offering a job to them.

Ah, blame Adam! As far as I know, he didn't really do anything noble and godly worth naming a son after. (Correct me if I am wrong)

Operation Char Kuey Teow 3

Okla, not exactly OCKT3, since the first one, is practically Operation Eat-Everything-Near-Where-We-Live-Since-We-No-Car. Had to walk 1.5 hours for dinner weh. Crazy. Can't believe how we managed without transport. I remember we sat in Liang's aunt's car, Toyota Unser, we all damn scared inside coz of the Penangites' crazy-shit pro driving skills.

Speeding through and squeezing in the roads of Penang at night with 5 kids looking at their first Penang trip, not a good idea.

Summaries of memories gained on previous trips, other than food:

First Ever Operation Char Kuey Teow:

  • 45mins walk (one way) to Nothram Food Court
  • Playing Korn - Twisted Transistor on my hp to wake Yong up.
  • Us doubting, saying WTH is Frankie Pizza
  • Terrible Bus Ride and Phang tahan his pee
Second Operation Char Kuey Teow:
  • Mahjong almost every other time when we are not having food in our mouths
  • Got lost in Bukit Mertajam
  • Did not manage to find the elusive Roti Babi on Gurney
  • See girls on Gurney on Valentine's, LOL fail man
  • Andrew order RM15 bakua. Epic.
Third Operation Char Kuey Teow:
  • Fun ride, Phang gushed down 1.5 litre water. Thats why, Yong.
  • Arsenal vs. Man United
  • Found Roti Babi
  • 10 hour sesssion of CC. CC's boss's GF. LOL fail man.
  • Funny dota and CS sessions.
Fourth Operation Char Kuey Teow:
