Silly Season

I knew this was coming. The thing called "Silly Season". As warned by Ps. Matt and Ps. Russell, Christmas season is indeed the "Silly Season".

The highest amount of christians recorded to backslide, which is rather ironic. Christmas is the day where Jesus Christ is born, and yet so many fell. It may puzzle many people, but I start to understand why.

This is because during Christmas season, especially for students, its a loooooong holiday. And during the holiday season, some of us (including me) may take a break from our daily devotionals. Its as if we are taking a break from God as well. This is when we are sooo vulnerable to the attacks of the devil.

We will start to feel down, feeling "emo", feeling negative, directly opposite of what our Heavenly Father wants us to feel. And sometimes, because of this, we missed our window of opportunity towards the destiny God has set apart for us.

Many a times one may feel lonely during the Christmas season. But we should not let these feelings grip our hearts.

No. I will not this happen to me....again. It has been like this for the past 2 years. It shall happen no more. No more silly season for me.

Back, and busy.

Hey guys, I am back in Malaysia. Came back on the 10th of December. Yea, took quite some time for this post. Haha...been rather busy lately.

Really can see what has God installed for me back home. I really wanted to help out this church at home once I got back and boy...I really got it...hahaha.

Been very busy with church especially during the Christmas season. Just doing whatever I can.

Just finished watching Code Geass R2. The ending is superb. One of the best endings of a series I had in years. Really good ending. Happy ending nonetheless, but its totally not the one you would expect from an anime. Go watch it.

Troublesome people

All along, I didn't feel the pinch of the countless riots which happened around the world. Not until now.

Damn the protesters. What a bunch of pain in the ass. Because of this issue, STA, the travel agency which I got my ticket from, can only offer either a delay (till don't know when) or a refund of RM600.

RM600? That's so ridiculous. So little compared to the peaked ticket prices now. Sigh.

Irresponsible people can be such a pain. Frustrates people. Another irresponsible person is the person who is in charge of the rooms in Monash University. I am now only waiting for the new project room to be cleared so that I can shift the apparatus in and he said he will get done by Friday. (last Friday) And now he want to delay to this Friday, again. I just hope I can shift them in before I go back.

Surprise!

Wow...it was like 10.48pm at on a Saturday Night. A knock at my door. And I said "come in".

Suddenly.

"Happy birthday to you...happy birthday to you..."

I was stunned. Nobody ever did anything like this for me at my birthday. The last time someone else celebrated my birthday with me is when I was at standard 6. And that is also because I invited them to my "party". But this is just different. For people to do something like this for me. Is really special. I will never forget this experience. Thanks guys. =)

We hanged around till around 12.30am at my place. And they went back. On the sunday, I went to church and met up with Steven after that and we hanged out.

Haha...thats pretty much it. =P
