Assassin's Creed 2

Hi, I am playing Assassin's Creed 2. That's if anyone cares what I find interesting.

And oh! Youth started today. I consider it successfully executed. Bravo. And to my shock, yes literally, girls are more than boys for today's session! Really out of my expectation.

Anyways, I can't make it for next week's session due to my working commitments. Aww shucks, let Phil handle them laaaa...

Said yes to so many things for this year. Just hope God will grant me the strength to handle them all. And I need to prepare a someone for me to talk during times of stress and troubles. Its been a while since I have a someone that I can really "offload" my troubles to. Can't remember when did I ever had one.

So er, any takers? I am guessing none. Have to offload onto gaming then.
Ciao.

Faith like Potatoes

Watched it with the CG just now. A very good movie. Not just for Christians. It teaches us what faith is like. And yea its like potatoes. One's faith have to be able to hold, touch, and smelled.

Ok, fine, that didn't sound very convincing. My england not pro enough. Anyways, watch it, borrow it from pastor (my church pastor that is) or download it (jahat way but at least you watch it).

Directions

Sorry for the long absence, work and games got hold of me these weeks.

Can be said that I officially started my working life this week. On last Friday, had a long talk with my boss's boss and he sort of made the direction in my working life much more clearer. And from this clearer view I can see that is not easy at all.

Started my day by reading about theories and concepts on process improvement, namely about the Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED).

It may seem very simple in concept and theory but it is VERY HARD to implement. This is because it relies heavily on INTERPERSONAL skills and commitment. And the original "creator" of this concept is damn geng, he managed to cut down the downtime of the machine from 12 hours to 3 days (depending on order) TO a mere LESS THAN 10 MINUTES!

Ideally, that is my objective as well. If I succeed, sure got kao bonus lol.

As most of you may know, I discovered 2 dead pixels on my TV. Some people asked how the hell I managed to find it. Well, the easiest to discover is when the screen turns black. And when your cable suck and always disconnects, your screen will turn black most of the time. Make sense? lol.

But thank God, the TV guy was willing to replace the whole TV (even when there's a threshold on the maximum allowable dead pixels). And now its Red in color, I mean the TV, not the pixels. And he brought a high grade cable as well. Now everything's smooth. Thank God.

Set my Dragon Age to easy mode so that I can scrape through it and start utilizing my PS3 more often. lol.

K then, short post. Off I go to complete missions.

So dead

My fantasy looks really grim even before the weekend arrives. I guess its a good thing because I won't be expecting much and won't feel THAT disappointed.

With 2 players in my first 11 doubtful and no available substitution. Too bad Hart can't sub in lol.

P/S: These 2 songs damn chun. Click it, its a good song. I didn't want to use the embedding as it auto plays. Scared you guys will dulan me really soon.

Bad, just bad.

Did something which did not glorify God at all. It was bad. I am sorry God.

And work. Just hope and pray things will not remain like this. Exact feelings of Industrial Training returns. Walking around like a headless chicken is not healthy at all.

Today. had a senior colleague telling me to be patient and try to learn as much as possible. His words really helped me. And patient I shall be. Will try to plan stuffs so that I have things to look forward to at the moment. Hope I will get busy real soon and with dependence on God, I shall show them what MY GOD is perfectly capable of. =)

Late now, will watch Big Bang Theory while waiting for my hair to dry. And tomorrow, work work.

Found this interesting pic in my comp.

Forgot who sent it to me. I think it was Jian Loong.

Finally, finished Mass Effect. A very enjoyable game with superb storyline and character building plots. And one thing I like about the game is that it puts you in a position where you have to make really harsh and important decisions.

Pictures of in-game graphics.

And just my hands on a new FPS RPG game called Borderlands. Below are the actual gameplay graphics. And yay, so far comp can support almost highest graphics.

Sudden want.

Been looking at the new PS3 Slim for the past few days.

It is weird, how come I never thought of ever wanting this piece of equipment until today, just mere days before I am going to start working. I never had the privilege of ever desiring it. Probably I always think of it as an expensive equipment. The only time I ever had the chance on a console is the PsOne, and during the time I got it, or rather my family gets it, is when it is almost outdated and the Ps2 was already out. Oh ya, and the Gameboy color, when the DS is already out. lol. Did not have the chance of getting my hands on an updated console, until now.

Price is very very reasonable in my opinion. Acts as a Blu-ray player, can capable of storing videos in its 120GB hard drive, as well as connecting to a wi-fi to surf and play online games (just a thought). Many friends (okla, not that many la, maybe 2?) ask whether I would have the time to play or utilize it rather, when I start my job. But somehow I am confident to answer that I have the time. And this is like the first REAL chance I have to have a console system which is not out of phase or out of production.

But like always, before I consider a rather pricey equipment, I do a lot of research. That is because due to past bad experiences, (not just on hardwares as many of you can vouch) I tend to make really bad decisions if I rush it. So I need opinions.

Everytime I consider this option, Yong's question keeps ringing in my mind.

"Don't tell me when you start working, you want to come back home to play game everyday MEH???"
"lol I don't mind"

-_____-

Me in the very near future, perhaps?

And no, I will not be one of those super-fat-couch-potato gamer the media always badly portrays.

lolol Fil.

Seriously, only he can come up with such things. LOL

Sigh and oh ya, I am a grad!

During my 2 weeks in Melbourne, I left my Malaysian phone in my bagpack until the last day. I took it out to transfer some Australian contacts since I want to cancel my Australian phone line.

Most of the bad things in life, only happens because of one single mistake. In the plane in bound for Jakarta (had to transit there before retur
ning to Malaysia), I tried to look for my phone and I could not find it.

Now is Day 2 upon arrival and I still don't see it or he
aring any news of it. It's lost. Sad. It is only 2 months old. What a waste of money. Now I am looki
ng for options for a new phone.

By the way, Tiesto is still the best.

And yes, I am officially a graduate!

Look ma! Time for me to fly~

Hmm.

A friend of a friend of mine is interested in buying my WoW account. Hope everything goes well. If it does, I actually make some money out of it. Without considering my years of effort into it of course, but I definitely gain back the cost.

Pros:
  • Extra cash, lots
  • No chance of turning back

Cons:
  • No chance of turning back
Then again, going to work soon. Wouldn't have time to play and as Yong always say "Don't tell me after a day of work, you want to stuck at home playing games MEH?"

So thats why I said, hope everything goes well. And hoping more I don't get scammed.

Flaming Shots

Names like Flaming Lamborghini, Blue Waterfall, Jagerbombs are normally the things that I won't probably touch in my lifetime without much poking, peer pressure or persuasion. They are cocktails, combinations of many hard liquors, with the Flaming Lamborghini and the Blue Waterfall being "Flaming Shots", meaning durin
g they time you drink it, the surface of the drink are lighted up on fire. It seems, the reason this is done is to sorta make the drinks "go up to your head" faster, or whatever that means. Here are some pictures and a video of the cocktails mentioned. My personal favorite is the Blue Waterfall. The video is actually taken from the pub I was at.

Not this Flaming Lambor.

This one.

Watch it. Damn cool. And a very nice drink too!

The Jagerbomb. Liquer + Red Bull

And I took all three of them yesterday. At a pub, at 5pm. All thanks to Mr. Darragh Leow, or some of you, or probably only Wei-Yeah, knows him as Valthier the rogue at Dragon Raider. lol.

Darragh. I am just following what Yong does. Posting up friend's picture without prior authorization. =)

I probably don't wanna sound like an expert so I won't describe the process in detail. But I didn't get tipsy at the end of it all. Just a little light-headed and slept early at the end of the day. Hurray. Wonders how one can get such drinks in Malaysia without going through the hassles of dumb clubs. I just want the drink! lol.

Day after, went to the airport to meet up with my parents. And in my aunt's car, we all head to her place in Stawell, 3-4 hours drive away from Melbourne city. Yup, one can call it a rural area, its really really small and quiet. But I am going to be here until Wednesday. At least I have access to the internet, albeit it being slow most of the time and disconnects alot.

Thursday will be my convocation day and I shall be heading back to Malaysia on Saturday/Sunday Midnight flight.

See you guys when I see ya!

p/s: Oh ya, football world has officially gone mad (probably did long time ago, but it just reaffirms it). How can Liverpool win?? But then again, its ok. They will lose to the next small club. Serious.

Melbourne, round 2.

So as you may or may not know, I am at Melbourne now. Reached here at 8.05am, well according to schedule. Took the Skybus from Tullamarine Airport to Southern Cross Station, then took a train to Caulfield station, where I met up with my cousin and he brought me back his house to sleep. Ah, sleeeeep.

Was hungry too. So my cousin whipped up fattening-eat-till-u-die the-good-old IndoMee. And I ate, and I KO-ed, for 8 hours. Straight. No commercials, only a few licks by my cousin's dog which I had to shoo that bitch (literally) off the room.

Woke up at 8pm. Esther, my cousin sister, ate already and Steven, my cousin brother was out studying. No dinner, on the first day. Sadness. Thank God for Kuo Hao. I called him, and he brought me out to eat. Yummy spicy pork chop with rice. lol. Went home, watched a bit of series, catch up with friends & family, then went to bed.

Day 2, off to the beach! For the past 1 and a half years in Melbourne, I have never been to the beach. Yes, I am pathetic, I only stay in the room bla bla bla. I jokingly blame saying nobody wanna bring me, but I admit, I am a very non-adventurous person. So, yea, off to the beach. Kinda excited if you ask me.

Took a train from Caulfield to Chelsea. Yup, a lot of Australian places are named after England places as well. Melbourne has its very own Chelsea and Tottenham. So the beach is at Chelsea. Reached there, took photos, played with water, played with sands (typical Asians), whereas the Ang Mohs wear their bikinis and sun tan and etc. Reaching 5pm, it drizzled a bit, and we had home, stopping by Caulfield for dinner. That night, I KO-ed (again, stressing how weak I am) again.

Day 3, 6am, watched Liverpool vs Lyon. LOL Liverpool, Liverpool. *shakes head, face palm* Injury time defeat. lol.

Went out lunch with Steven. Came back watch Bleach in the afternoon, and took a nap (again) before heading out to Clayton for dinner and catch up with friends. Spend a great deal of time chatting with friends again. It was fun. And now I am here waiting for the Manchester United game to start. Damn funny, the local TV here is about to show Bordeaux vs Bayern Munich. So I have to stream the Man U match online. Was thinking of catching an episode of Leverage before I watch the match, but looks like I won't have the time.

Day 4, tomorrow. Plans: Shopping + Movie. lol. Come Melbourne, watch series, go beach, shopping, movie, eat Chinese and Malaysian food. Only difference? The weather. LOL.

-____________- since I got so much time

I shall squeeze in another post, at the airport.

My mum, asked me to leave at 4pm, in case highway jams up. So we (Yong and Me, he offered to send me, so good) left at 4pm. From my house to toll, 30 minutes. Kinda stuck, so maybe leaving early is a good thing. BUT highway no jam woh. End up reaching KLIA at 5.20pm. 50 minutes reach liao. We, or rather, I, had SO MUCH TIME, Yong asked me to check whether my tickets and passport got or not, and he said:

If you forget, still can go back home and take and come back. Got enough time, serious.

-___-

Went in, check which counter to check-in, went to the row E and F, nobody lining up, at all.

The counter person that asked:

Sir, where are heading to?

Melbourne.

Check-in here, sir.

*poof* Not even 5 minutes, done.

Time: 5:30pm.

Checks boarding time on pass, 9pm.

-_____________________-

Called my mum.

So, do what now??!

*laughs on the other end*

Go eat lor, at McD.

Already so fat, mum ask me to stuff myself somemore. lol.

Luckily the McD got power socket and KLIA itself has net. So I typed this, checked Facebook, and.... Mafia-War-ed as well. LOL.

So yeah. Going to watch Fringe now. hahaha.

kthxbai.

Off I go

Currently updating my Mafia Wars and digging my ears and going to cut my nails later. This is because for the next 2 weeks, I won't get to do those things, except Mafia Wars coz I just only need the net.

Opps, typed too much and omitted the reason. I am going back to Melbourne for convocation.

Aiyo.

Despite all the hype Yong has created, and which Koh has supported, I still have to say Kungfu Cyborg is bad. I mean, to give credit, some scenes are funny. But thats all. Maybe the girl quite cute. But thats about it.
And once again, Chinese' film industry's graphic suck. Come on, you guys are making a film man. But the graphics you pull off, is just no better than the Stadium Astro's robots.
Probably I expected too much. And to make matters worse, since its a Cantonese movie, I made my parents watched it. I still can recall the joy agony on my dad's face at the end of movie. lol. But my mum did mentioned the movie was quite funny. Probably don't want to make me feel bad.
But sorry Yong and Koh, I have to give this movie, a big NO.
If I were to watch this movie in the cinema, I would walked out feeling the same way after Gamer. But at least Gamer's graphics are much better. Well just expressing how I feel, no hard feelings.
